The artist Oliver Skifs, who comes from Österhaninge, had his first exhibition in Österlen in the summer of 2021 and his first exhibition at Easter 2022 in connection with the art round. Both exhibitions were a success and have received many praises from both visitors and the press so have now become a well-known recurring event.
As tradition dictates, he is back with us at Hylkegården where he shows his fantastic works, paintings, sculptures and costumes in the straw loft.

Born in 1988, Oliver works in a variety of artistic expressions, from costume design for theatre and film to portrait painting.
Through his interest in the Middle Ages, fantasy and "LARP", he has for many years designed and made masks and armour to order for customers all over the world. He is self-taught, but has on several occasions held courses in his special field of leather craft, as well as in colour theory and concept design at various art schools.
Oliver's other great interest, music, often inspires the motifs in his art, and often in leather, which he is quite unique in.
However, one can see his fascination with different techniques, working with acrylics, charcoal and various sculptural materials, often in combination with his leather motifs.
This gives a certain 3D effect and makes his paintings unique and exciting.
